This heavy-duty machine is designed for most fiber polishing operations where >1µm finish polish
is desired  as well as denubbing operations for glass fibers.

As the hand wheel is turned, the optical connector is automatically indexed across the polishing film at a precise rate.

The steady feed of fresh polishing film insures a faster, cleaner polish as well as nearly 100% usage of polishing films.
 
When compared to hand polishing, OptiSpin™ assures you that your polishing output
will double while your polishing film usage is halved!
 

Features
 
  • OptiSpin™ features a "quick release" that allows the operator to position the connector quickly at any point on the polishing disc.
  • OptiSpin™ indexing occurs continuously. Beginning at the center of the polish disc, the polish pattern spirals outward in a continuously expanding and unbroken line.
  • OptiSpin™ can extract nearly 2200 linear inches of polishing distance from a single 4" diameter polish film disc without touching any part of the polishing film twice.
  • At the 140um indexing rate, it takes 362 complete revolutions of the hand wheel to advance a ferrule from the center of the polishing disc to the outside. It takes approximately 15 of those revolutions to denub a fiber and 10 to polish.

Warranty period is for 1 year from delivery date.
For defective returns please contact support@gruber.com and request an RMA number.
All returns must have RMA number. No unauthorized returns accepted.  Buyer pays return shipping cost.
Product will be  replaced with similar unit, and shipped to customer at no charge during warranty period.
