Gruber's financial plans and policies; accounting practices and procedures; and relationships with lending institutions, shareholders and the financial community are carried out by a host of financial and accounting experts, including Accounting Specialists, Financial Specialists, Financial Analysts, Staff Accountants and Managers.  Finance team members develop and coordinate the accounting and statistical data needed by functional managers, team leaders and peers in other functional areas.  They also help management make decisions regarding processes and profitability.

Positions within the Finance and Accounting field are located in Gruber's Phoenix Arizona corporate offices.

Accounting Rotation Program (ARP) — Gruber helps develop the technical knowledge, self-management and team orientation of outstanding accounting graduates through its Accounting Rotation Program.  This two-year program consists of four six-month rotations that introduce participants to all the different aspects of Gruber's accounting areas.  At the end of the two-year program, participants choose the area that best suits their preferred career path and the company’s needs.

Participants in Gruber's Accounting Rotation Program are matched with a mentor — a senior manager — who provides program advice and valuable networking opportunities.

The ARP provides hands-on training so participants quickly learn about Gruber and contribute to bottom-line results. Throughout the program, participants have the opportunity to interact with key senior management.

Rotation opportunities area available in AR, AP, Credit and Collections, Analysis, Tax Accounting and Financial Operations.

Requirements:

• Overall GPA and major GPA of 3.2 or higher
• An accounting internship or prior work experience with an accounting focus is preferred (not required)

Excellent personal communications skills, teamwork and a strong customer focus will be essential. You will also need leadership, good documentation/communication skills and computer literacy is essential.
