The closer your consciousness moves towards reclaiming ownership of all that is, was, will be, the "shorter"the effects of the experience of Karma becomes.
In essence, once you again accept the "stuff out there" as really YOU, hurting "someone else" is just like smashing your thumb with a hammer, and your acceptance of the negative impact of Karma is very much like the pain you expect from your throbbing thumb.
The golden lining in this simple yet universally misunderstood concept, is that nourishing and enriching your environment, and people in it, is fundamentally taking care of yourself.
